My GBWC 2012 entry W.I.P. post - Part 2: MG Guntank & Weathering

Hey guys! first off sorry for the delay of updating the blog, lots of things I have to take care of graduating finally from college, health issues and finishing my entry for GMKC 2013... so enough of typing nonsense and let the pictures do the talking.

The box!

Tedious tracks to be assembled

Comes with LED lights batteries not included

A very detailed inner frame

One of the most fun builds I've made so far

On to weathering. Tracks painted metallic black and dry brushed with silver

Minor mods with pla-plates and some kotobukiya parts

Painted with mr. color sandy brown and Tan

Weathering using a sponge dipped in Tamiya brown enamel and Tamiya weathering master for rust streaks

Additional weathering effect with grinded soft pastel with ligther fluid to make it stick

Test fitting on the diorama

The rest of the part getting their weathering treatment

Finished kit

That's all for today, see you next time!
