What's up everyone? here is another kit that i made this time for Gundam Model Kit Contest (GMKC) 2011. In this event they only allowed Age and Seed gundam series to built and painted without any altering modifications to the kit.
The inspiration to paint Gafran yellow came from a lot of sources, obviously from Transformer's Bumble Bee and the MG Sinanju Canary from Syd "Gunpla TV" host. I always wanted to have a variety of colors in the kits that I collect and there are not that much yellow themed kits around so i thought I'd give it a shot painting a really shiny looking yellow themed gunpla!
After a lot of swearing... because of the dusts that keeps on falling on the painted parts ruining the finish I somehow managed to get the finish that i wanted. It was also in this time that I first used Tamiya's compound and the decals came from the prize i won from last mid year event.
And so without further delay i present to you "Bumble-fran"
